EAT: WORLD FINANCIAL CENTER RESTAURANT SHOWCASE
EAT: World Financial Center Restaurant Showcase is back tomorrow night, with nearly 20 restaurants kicking off the fall season by serving up seasonal dishes and unveiling brand new menu items, including Smoked Wings with Palm Sugar Glaze from Fatty Snack and a new Salmon Burger from Quality Burger!
Visitors will be treated to selections from a mélange of different cuisines, among them Casa Masa’s picadillo taco, a meatball hot plate from Caravelli’s Pizzeria, and energy cookies from Elixir Juice Bar. Asphalt Green Battery Park City, the community’s not-for-profit fitness and cultural center, will invite guests to take part in a special blind taste test from their culinary program with the chance to win free cooking classes before the center opens.
The event will also feature fresh fruits and vegetables from the World Financial Center Greenmarket, which will continue to offer up locally-grown produce and homemade goods each Thursday throughout the fall.
